The Title Has Been Chosen! Maybe.

What is this hellscape? My daily apocalyptic view thanks to wildfires.

I think I’ve finally, maybe, hopefully settled on a title for book 3 in the Julia Ivory series. I’ve changed my mind a few times while drafting the book, so for now, I've decided to keep it under wraps until the book is written and edited.

I wanted the title for this book to continue the pattern of fae-created weapons, giving a sense of violence and otherworldliness while also signalling that this story will take the series in an exciting new direction. This is proving to be tricky. I had several title possibilities, but none of them were quite right for this story. Maybe I’ll use them for future books.

So for the time being, all I can say is a new adventure is coming - one that grows organically from the first two books while breaking new ground. I can't wait to reveal the title and share what I've been working on. In the meantime, thanks as always for your patience and support. The journey continues!

Canada is on fire.

First, the sky was clouded by the fires in Alberta, and now we’re getting the smoke from Ontario and Quebec. I’m in the middle of Ontario, where we’re getting the worst of the smoke. Under the Alberta fires, I had a headache everyday. Now, I have a headache and trouble breathing, so I’m hiding indoors.

We need some rain!
