In previous years I would be confined to my bed on a Mother's Day morning, made to wait (gratefully and patiently!) while the rest of the family made pancakes. This is very hard on me. I'm the early riser in the family, often out of bed by 6 A.M., even on weekends. So this year my family served breakfast to me in the family room where I lounged in the recliner, after spending the early hours click-clacking on my laptop. Best Mother's Day I've had in years!
I hope you have a wonderful day!
