Taking the Self-Publishing Route

I've decided to try self-publishing. I'm currently going through the manuscript and having a cover made. I can't wait to show you the cover! The book I've chosen for this project is a YA I wrote a few years ago. It's undergone many, many revisions. I'm very excited and nervous about this! I hope to have everything ready before the end of the month.

It's called CATCHING A SORCERER. It's a YA contemporary fantasy, heavy on action, light on romance, and aimed at 13-15 year olds. Here's the pitch:

Just weeks after a sorcerer killed her mother, fifteen year old Melantha is asked to help with the investigation. She wants nothing to do with it, but then she learns one of her classmates is the son of the sorcerer. Worried for her classmate, Mel agrees. With her spell-turner powers not yet developed the mission will be dangerous, but it will be downright deadly if the sorcerer figures out who she is and decides she will follow in her mother's footsteps.

Anybody out there want to beta read it? Or perhaps review it? Pretty please? I'd love to have some quotes. And as always, I'd be happy to beta read in exchange, and even review for Kaleidoscope Reviews.
