Halloween and I am unprepared

It's the morning of October 31st and my house is without candy and carved pumpkins. It's also the day before NaNoWriMo and I have no idea what I'll be writing this year. It's going to be a busy day.

We've had sickness in the house this month. My youngest son is still ill with fever and stomach flu and worried he will miss all the Halloween festivities. Somehow we will get him through it without missing out and despite the forecasted rain from the outer arms of Hurricane Sandy. (Thank goodness all we've had is the outer arms. There's still been so much rain. I can't wait to see the sun again!)

I've also been busy taking my website from this:

to this:

The website still emphasizes urban fantasy and all the old posts are there, but I've also opened the site up to review other things as well. The change has also allowed for advertising now that it is self-hosted. I've had a lot to learn and do over the last few weeks in preparation for this change. I hope it looks more "pro" and is more user-friendly.

Wishing you a happy Halloween!
